I downloaded the trial version of Acronis True Image 10.0 about 2 months ago on a number of computers and did a full back up on all. After the trial period I decided to pay to continue True Image 10 only on one machine. Download the latest version of Acronis True Image for Windows. Create and restore complete disk images. The perfect solution for unforeseen events such as viruses. Acronis True Image can also create a copy of Acronis Rescue Media, a bootable DVD that contains a copy of Acronis True Image and can restore backups to a computer not bootable in the normal way, so long as a good boot drive (existing or new) is available. The Acronis True Image Cloud version allows cloud users to also back up their mobile devices.

Description
The system requirements for Acronis True Image can be found in the product documentation (Windows, Mac, mobile).
This article specifically lists some known computer environment conditions, where Acronis True Image is not supposed to be installed, run (including via Bootable Media), and which Acronis True Image is not guaranteed to backup and recover.
CPU architecture:
- ARM (unsupported by Windows version of Acronis True Image)
- ARM64 (unsupported by Windows version of Acronis True Image)
To check if you have an ARM/ARM64 processor, check 'System Type' parameter under Control Panel - System and Security - System, or on the main page of System Information (msinfo32.exe) utility.
OR
Operating system:
- Windows 2000 and all earlier versions
- Windows XP 32-bit without Service Pack 3
- Windows XP 64-bit
- Windows Vista
- Windows 7 without Service Pack 1
- Windows Embedded
- Windows Server
- Windows RT
- Windows 10 IoT
- Windows 10 in S mode
- Windows Mobile
- Android earlier than 5.0
- iOS earlier than 10.0
- Linux and other Unix systems, except for macOS, Android, iOS.
A special case are Linux-based Synology DSM and QNAP QTS operating systems, where Acronis True Image app can be installed, but only for the purpose of storing backups from a mobile device to that NAS. To backup data from the NAS you still have to access it as a network share from Acronis True Image, installed on Windows or Mac. - Mac OS X Yosemite and earlier (unsupported by Acronis True Image 2019 and 2020)
- Other operating systems, not listed in the respective product documentation as supported
(!) Note that devices with the above listed CPU or operating systems still can be used for:
- storing backups, if the file system is supported (Windows, Mac)
- file/folder backup operations, if accessed as a network share
- file/folder and disk/partition backup operations, if plugged into an internal port or attached with internal or external cable, and the file system is supported (Windows, Mac). Data consistency and OS bootability upon recovery is still guaranteed only for supported OS.
Computers with multiple operating systems:
Operating system's bootability upon recovery is not guaranteed in dual- and multi-boot configuration, if at least one of the operating systems is not supported.

None of us are free. Boot Camp and Parallels Desktop can be backed up by Mac version of Acronis True Image (not Windows version). Jixipix romantic photo 2 3 2013.
Example 1
For instance, Windows 10 Pro, running on a computer with ARM CPU is not supported by Acronis True Image. Even though Windows 10 Pro is supported, ARM CPU is not. Therefore, you cannot install Acronis True Image and backup that computer.
However, if you have a second, different computer in your local network, that has a supported OS and CPU, you can install Acronis True Image there and use the computer with ARM CPU as a network destination for storing backups of the second computer. Also you can backup files and folders from that Windows 10 Pro on ARM CPU if accessing them as network shares from the second computer.
Example 2
A dual-boot x86 Intel CPU computer with Windows 8 and Ubuntu. Although x86 CPU and Windows 8 are both supported, Ubuntu is not. You may find file systems, used on Linux, in the list of supported, but as Ubuntu Linux is missing from the list of supported OS, its and Windows 8's bootability is not guaranteed upon backup restoration because of the dual-boot.
In this example Acronis True Image can be installed on Windows 8, and used for Windows 8 and Ubuntu data backup of supported file systems. Backup can be made in any mode: Entire PC, disk/partition, file/folder.
However, neither Windows 8's nor Ubuntu's bootability are guaranteed upon restoration, including if the backup was made via Bootable Media, because of the dual-boot setup with unsupported OS.
Example 3
Apple Mac computer with Intel x86 CPU, macOS 10.14 Mojave and Windows 10 Pro on Boot Camp. Install Acronis True Image on macOS and run either 'Entire Mac' or disk-mode backups to backup both macOS and Windows 10 Pro. Windows 10 Pro can then be restored either as part of entire Mac recovery, or separately.
Do not try to use Acronis Bootable Media downloaded from account.acronis.com or created in Windows version of Acronis True Image.
Do not install Acronis True Image inside Windows 10 Pro on Boot Camp.
Example 4
Acronis True Image 1 0 X
A backup of Windows Server operating system was created using Acronis Bootable Media. After performing restoration from backup, the server does not boot or there are other issues with recovery.
